South Burnett Regional Council has advised that Bob Morgan’s Bridge on Stonelands Road at Stonelands will be closed later this week due to safety concerns.
The bridge crosses Sunday Creek.
Problems with the bridge were identified during a recent routine bridge inspection.
Council workers will construct a side track around the bridge to ensure continued access for residents.
Further investigations will be undertaken to determine a long-term solution.
