Last night’s storm cells left many parts of the South Burnett without power.
More than 20 power outages in the region were reported to Ergon Energy.
Once of the largest was in the Inverlaw, Kumbia and Goodger areas where about 1400 people lost power just before 9:00pm.
Most power was restored by 10:30pm; all power was restored at 3:48am.
Forty-seven customers in the Booie area lost power at 6:35pm; power was restored at 8:35pm.
About 90 residents in the Wooroolin and Cushnie areas lost power at 7:30pm; power was reconnected by 10:00am.
It was a busy night for Ergon Energy repair crews who were working throughout the Wide Bay region.
An Ergon spokesman said all the major power supply interruptions were rectified by crews last night.
The major ongoing outage in the Wide Bay-Burnett region this morning was one affecting about 100 customers between Durong and Ballogie.
