U14 Most Courageous …  Fletcher Brown

September 7, 2014

The South Burnett Saints AFL Club held a presentation evening for its junior players on Friday night at the Kingaroy Cricket Club.

The Saints had U8s, U10s and U14s players in 2014 and hopes to have an U16s side next season.

The U14s, in particular, had a good year, finishing 6th on the ladder after seven wins and six losses.

Coach Darryl Brooks said the team had been just one win away from finishing in fourth spot and getting into the semi-finals.

Minor premiers in the age group were Dalby who only had one loss during the year, and that was to the young Saints.
