The second annual “Time4Kids” promotion in the South Burnett has led to more than $2000 being raised for youth programs at the South Burnett PCYC.

Organiser Sgt Michael Eadie said $1117.30 was raised at Kingaroy Shoppingworld on Saturday morning, with CROW-FM’s Ian “Corky” Corcoran bringing in the most dollars.

However South Burnett Deputy Mayor Keith Campbell also raised nearly $1200 ahead of the day, boosting the total.

Also “locked up” were Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington, Cr Ros Heit and Rick Collard from the Murgon Mustangs.

Sgt Eadie said the money would be used for youth development programs such as Friday Night Live at Murgon, and skateboarding programs across the South Burnett.
