Police are seeking witnesses to the collision between a cattle truck and a car on the Brisbane Valley Highway near Harlin on Monday night.
Initial investigations indicate a white coloured Kenworth cattle truck crashed into a sedan about 6:45pm.
A 16-year-old girl remains in the Royal Brisbane Hospital with serious injuries.
A 51-year-old woman suffered minor injuries and was also taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital for treatment while the truck driver suffered minor injuries.
The highway remained closed until just after 6:00am the following day.
Police wish to speak with anyone who may have seen the white Kenworth B-double cattle truck travelling south on the Brisbane Valley Highway prior to the incident occurring.
