Ergon Energy work crews have replaced some equipment that was arcing on the top of an electricity pole near the Nanango netball courts.

The power supply to about 1000 customers in parts of the town and areas to the south was interrupted at 6:13pm.

A call from a customer living opposite the netball courts on Brooklands Road helped crews to locate the cause of the problem.

Power was restored to all customers at 9:44pm after crews had completed the repairs.
