A tree has been pushed over high-voltage power lines during storm clean-up activities at Tansey causing a blackout in the Goomeri area.
The Goomeri feeder line is off from Murgon.
An Ergon Energy spokesman said switching operations were under way to isolate the fault so supplycould be restored as soon as possible.
UPDATE 1:45pm: Power was fully restored to 25 customers who lost power halfway between Goomeri and Tansey at 10:43am.
However, about 500 customers from Nanango to Brooklands and on to Maidenwell had their power supply interrupted at 11:20am.
An Ergon Energy spokesman said it was expected power would be restored about 2:00pm after crews replace a broken cross-arm.
