An equipment malfunction on a high-voltage feeder line resulted in 875 Ergon Energy customers in parts of Kingaroy and areas east of town – including Booie, Coolabunia and Wattle Camp – having their power supply interrupted at 6:15pm on Saturday.
An Ergon spokesman said power was restored to all customers by 7:37pm by supplying them from another feeder line.
Crews then repaired the damage and the network was returned to its normal configuration at 9:48pm.
