Ergon Energy Chief Executive Ian McLeod congratulated donors for their inspirational demonstration of community spirit towards a vital and worthy cause.

“Our customers have maintained an extraordinary level of generosity which results in about $800,000 raised each year,” Mr McLeod said.

“Ergon is committed to its community partnership with the RFDS by providing the means for customers to show their support which is vital to keeping the Flying Doctor flying.”

Through the scheme customers can contribute via regular donations through their quarterly bill, or make larger one-off donations if they wish.

“Ergon employees have also played a fantastic role in the fundraising effort via their payroll deductions. We’re all very proud to continue to support the great work of the RFDS,” Mr McLeod said.
