An Ergon Energy crew despatched to restore power to homes in the Proston area during Saturday night’s storms had a lucky escape when their 4WD left the road and rolled over.
The two workers on board escaped injury but their vehicle suffered substantial damage.
Another Ergon crew also had a near miss during Saturday night’s wild storms when a tree limb fell on their vehicle.
The vehicle was damaged but the men were not hurt.
