This evening’s storms cut power to about 9000 Ergon Energy customers in the South Burnett and Darling Downs.
Ergon crews are currently working to restore power to homes in parts of Kingaroy, Maidenwell and Nanango,

UPDATE November 18: The storm cells caused further power supply interruptions overnight with homes in and around Proston and Kilkivan also impacted.
This morning, Ergon Energy crews were working to restore power to about 2500 customers in the South Burnett and Darling Downs.

The Department of Main Roads reported at 9:00am there were no road closures in the South Burnett. However, many roads have wind-blown debris on them from last night’s storms and drivers should be cautious.
