A man has been charged over a string of grass fires in the Chinchilla-Wondai Road region over the past two months.
Investigations began after complaints from residents in the Durong area that a firebug may be operating in the region.
Wondai Police have charged a man with 10 counts of lighting unauthorised fires on dates between July 6 and August 20.
More charges may also be laid.
The man was arrested in the Cushnie area last week. He will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on September 11.
