The Little Mermaid Jnr - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Musical Comedy Society's Youth Theatre group is presenting a very limited run of Disney's The Little Mermaid Jnr at the Kingaroy Performing Arts Centre (KPAC, in the grounds of Kingaroy State High School, at the end of Markwell Street.) Today's matinee performance is at 11:00am. Tickets are just $15 per person and can be booked online. (Group bookings are available for 15 or more people at a reduced rate.)
117th Nanango Show
- The first day of the two-day 117th Nanango Show will get under way at the Nanango Showgrounds in Cairns Street at 8:00am this morning with the judging of Show Harness classes. This will be followed at 10:00am with the Working Horse Challenge before the Stud Cattle Young Judges and Handlers competitions at 4:00pm. The Show's main public day is tomorrow, when the action will start at 7:00am and run through until late tomorrow night.
Movie Night - Murgon
A free Youth Week Movie Night will be held from 5:30pm this evening at the South Burnett PCYC in Macalister Street, Murgon. The movie is the popular musical comedy, "Pitch Perfect". There'll be free snacks and drinks, and no booking is required. Just come along for a fun night out in Murgon!
Arts And Crafts Day - Linville
- Arts and crafts sessions are held fortnightly on Fridays from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Linville Hall, 40 George Street. Everyone is welcome! BYO craft or just drop in and enjoy a chat.
Deal'n - Tingoora

Friday Social Golf & Dinner - Proston
The Proston Golf Club, on Brigooda Road, Proston, will be holding a Friday afternoon social golf game today. Names need to be in by 2:00pm for a 2:30pm tee-off, and everyone is welcome. Murgon to Kingaroy Shopping Bus
- Graham House will be running a shopping bus between Murgon and Kingaroy today. The bus will pick up customers from their address at 8:30am and transport them to the Kingaroy Mall (or other destinations if arranged beforehand), then make a return journey about 11:30am. Tickets on the bus are $15 per person return and the bus runs fortnightly on Fridays (except public holidays) but places are limited so a booking is necessary. Alcoholics Anonymous - Murgon
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low-income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. Barefoot Bowls Fundraiser - Wondai
- CANCELLED The Wondai Business & Development Association is hosting a Community Barefoot Bowls fundraiser at the Wondai Country Club (on the Bunya Highway just north of the Wondai CBD) from 5:00pm tonight. Cost is $15 which includes a sausage sizzle and dessert. The licensed bar will be open and hot chips will also be available. Teams can be registered by email. Beginners are welcome! Funds raised will go towards supplying solar security lights for the Wondai community. NB. This event has been rescheduled from March 6.
