It was another big weekend of South Burnett Football before the mid-school holidays break, with Nanango travelling to Kingaroy to take on Gunners, while Barambah’s men’s teams clashed with Wests at Murgon Showgrounds

Round 2 of the Evolution Solar South Burnett football competition was completed on Tuesday evening in Kingaroy with the 1st Division match between Gunners and Nanango.

Saturday was one of the best days of football ever held in the South Burnett, but sadly for Nanango it didn’t end in triumph.
It’s been a wonderful week for football in the South Burnett. Not only have we been given an FFA Cup fixture to host but also the Kingaroy Junior Redbacks scored a handsome donation from Hyundai in their Goals for Grassroots promotion.
In a great coup for our region, Nanango will take on 2013 Toowoomba Premier League Grand Finalists, Willowburn, on Saturday March 15 in Kingaroy at 5:00pm.
