Toowoomba Regional Council is delivering the next round of its popular Free Plant Voucher Program, with 16,000 plants available for residents to collect during October and November.
Collection points include the Yarraman depot in Barr Smith Street and the Crows Nest Community Nursery in Depot Street.
A TRC spokesperson urged residents to keep an eye out for their vouchers which will be sent out with the rates notices.
If residents receive their rates notice by email, they will find the voucher included as an extra page in the PDF attachment.
TRC residents who do not receive a voucher should contact Council on 13-18-72 to arrange one.
There is a wide range of native and exotic plants for residents to choose from, with plant types subject to availability at the time of collection.
All the plants distributed through this round of the program will have undergone Fire Ant treatment prior to distribution.
