The Queensland Farmers’ Federation has released an updated edition of its Queensland Renewable Energy Landholder Toolkit to give landholders access to practical guidance for navigating renewable energy proposals on their properties.
A QFF spokesperson said the Toolkit, which was first launched in 2023, has been revised after extensive consultations with landholders, developers, local councils, government bodies and legal and financial professionals.
The updated edition reflects changes across the sector, including the shift towards hybrid and battery storage projects, changes to planning legislation, and a higher standard of community engagement now expected of project proponents.
The Toolkit can be accessed on the QFF website
