South Burnett producers have been invited to attend Giant Rat’s Tail Grass Information Sessions to be held next month in the region.
The sessions, at Inverlaw and Cloyna, will offer practical information on managing this invasive weed while improving pasture productivity.
The sessions will be held on:
- Inverlaw: Wednesday, September 9; 12.30pm-4.00pm at the Farmers Hall; a light lunch will be provided
- Cloyna: Thursday, September 10; 9.00am-12.30pm at the Cloyna Hall; morning tea will be provided

The information sessions have been organised by the Burnett Catchment Care Association and the South Burnett Regional Council with support from the State Government’s Natural Resources Recovery Program.
