Not-for-profit community groups have been invited to apply for grants under the South Burnett Regional Council’s Community Grants Program.

Council’s Community Grants Program will be opening soon for:

  • Community Sponsorship Program
  • Regional Arts Development Fund (Minor Funding)

“Council is committed to supporting our fantastic community groups across the region. I am proud that we can provide community grant funding to deliver key projects for the community. Whether you want to hold an event or upgrade your mower, Council may be able to lend a hand through our grant programs,” Mayor Kathy Duff said.

  • Applications for the Community Sponsorship grant will be open on Saturday, August 1, and close on  Monday, August 31. Information about how to apply is available on Council’s website
  • Applications for RADF Minor Funding will be open on Saturday, August 1, and close on Monday, August 31. Applications for the Regional Arts Development Fund can be made via the SmartyGrants website

RADF’s Quick Response Grans program is also open and remains open for the entire financial year.

Applicants are encouraged to read the guidelines and contact Council’s RADF Liaison Officer before submitting an application.

RADF is a partnership between the State Government, through Arts Queensland, and South Burnett Regional Council to promote local arts and culture.
