Police have charged three people after drugs and weapons were allegedly located during the police searches in Murgon and Cherbourg on Tuesday.
Police from Cherbourg, Murgon and Murgon CIB searched a home in Lamb Street, Murgon, about 12:30pm where they allegedly located nearly 13g of methylamphetamine, a small quantity of cocaine and cannabis, drug utensils, controlled medicines and knuckledusters.
A 33-year-old Murgon man was arrested and charged with 15 offences, including four counts of possessing a dangerous drug, two counts of supplying a dangerous drug and one count of possessing a Category M weapon.
A 28-year-old Murgon woman was arrested and charged with nine offences, including four counts of possessing a dangerous drug, one count of supplying a dangerous drug and one count of possessing a Category M weapon.
Both are due to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on August 11.
A 45-year-old Cherbourg man was also arrested and charged after a search of house in Marshall Street, Cherbourg, about 9:30am.
The man has been charged with supplying dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs and other drug-related offences.
He has been issued with a Notice to Appear before Murgon Magistrates Court on August 11.
