Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington is encouraging residents to get behind Queensland Day 2026 (June 6) to shine a spotlight on the people, places and businesses that make the South Burnett great.
Nominations are now open for the 2026 Queensland Day Awards and the All The Best campaign.
In the All The Best campaign, Queenslanders can vote for their favourite places, spaces and businesses across 15 categories, ranging from beaches and tourist attractions to pubs, parks and butchers.
“Queensland Day is the perfect opportunity to acknowledge the everyday people who make an extraordinary difference,” Mrs Frecklington said.
“In 2025, we saw the Blackbutt Bakery take out the ‘All the Best’ meat pie award and I look forward to seeing many more great businesses nominated in 2026.”
Queensland Day Award nominations, and votes in the All The Best campaign, can be made online
