The Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) provides funding to not‑for‑profit organisations to upgrade facilities, buy equipment, deliver programs and strengthen local services.

“Our community groups give so much of their time, energy and heart to support the South Burnett. These grants go a long way toward helping them continue the incredible work they do,” Mrs Frecklington said.

“These projects will make a meaningful difference across the region, and I look forward to seeing these projects come to life and the positive impact they will have on our community.”

Across Queensland, about $19.5 million was distributed across almost 800 community organisations in Round 125.

Since 1994, the GCBF has injected more than $1.3 billion into communities across Queensland.
