The Kingaroy Heritage Museum hosted another popular Open Day on Saturday in the old powerhouse building opposite the peanut silos in Haly Street.
Council staff and museum volunteers were keen to show visitors the many exhibits on display.
And South Burnett residents were equally eager to share their memories with museum staff.
The museum building is part of the complex which also includes the Kingaroy Visitor Information Centre, the 1938 Council Chambers (now the Kingaroy Regional Art Gallery) and the 1913 Council Chambers (used as a meeting room and workshop area).
Visitors also took the opportunity to view peanut industry videos in the Visitor Information Centre and check out the entries in the David Bryce Rural Art Awards in the gallery.
