Police are hunting a would-be thief who allegedly tried to squeeze into a Murgon home via a pet door.
A police spokesperson said about 2:45am on February 6, a person entered the yard of a house in Chataway Street.
The person walked up the back stairs and tried to open a screen door.
After realising the door was locked, they then tried to enter through the pet door.
After failing again, they walked away.
