Rural fire crews were back at Goodger on Monday morning to check containment lines around a large paddock fire which broke out on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Goodger Gully Road about 1:30pm on Sunday.
At one stage eight rural fire units were at the blaze.
The Queensland Fire Department issued a smoke alert for local residents about 4:00pm.
A QFD spokesperson said about 12ha were involved in flames, although no structures were under threat.
However, some vehicles may have been damaged in the blaze.
A local property owner was forced to move stock out of the way as a precaution.
Bulldozers were called in during the afternoon to cut firebreaks.
The QFD spokesperson said the fire was contained on the western side by 3:30pm.
Two dozers were also working to cut firebreaks on the south-east side at 4:00pm.
By 6:00pm, breaks had been cut completely around the fireground.
Firefighters began leaving the site at 7:00pm, but returned several times during the night to ensure the area was safe.
