A man aged in his 60s was airlifted to hospital with critical injuries after a motorcycle crash at Woolooga on Monday morning.
Emergency services were called to the single-vehicle crash on the Wide Bay Highway, near the Bongmillerer Creek Bridge, just before 8:00am.
A QAS spokesperson said the rider suffered life-threatening chest, arm and leg injuries in the crash.
A rescue helicopter was called to the incident and landed nearby on the highway.
The man was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane Hospital.
The highway was closed to traffic while emergency services were at the scene.
