Police are investigating after a burnt out vehicle was located near Barambah Creek at Cherbourg on Tuesday afternoon.
Fire crews were called about 12:30pm but found the vehicle, which was down a gully, already extinguished.
A QFD spokesperson said the incident was left in the hands of police.
