Two men have suffered critical injuries in separate traffic crashes in the South Burnett region over the past few days.

On Saturday, emergency services were called to a motorcycle crash on the D’Aguilar Highway, near the Tarong Power Station at Yarraman, about 5:30pm.

A QAS spokesperson said there was two men on the bike, both aged in their 50s.

The first man suffered shoulder and chest injuries and was transported by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition.

The second man, also taken to Kingaroy Hospital, had potentially life-threatening injuries, including significant leg injuries as well as head and pelvic injuries.

In the second incident, a vehicle ran off Manyung Road at Manyung in the early hours of Monday and hit a tree.

Emergency services were called about 1:40am.

The QAS spokesperson said a man aged in his 30s was taken to Kingaroy Hospital with life-threatening head injuries.
