Most Year 12 formals begin with red carpets and polished cars but Murgon State High School’s arrivals also have music!

A different song accompanied each arrival at Friday night’s big event … from “Convoy” by Paul Brandt to “High School” by Nicki Minaj.

The music sounded out as the vehicles pulled up in Dutton Street East and dropped off their passengers at the foot of the red carpet.

The Year 12s arrived in prime movers, a cattle truck, Aussie classics, US muscle cars, a stately Jaguar … and even on a horse!

The girls looked stunning in their formal frocks while the boys polished up nicely in their suits and ties.

The songs continued to play as the students and their partners twirled on the red carpet before heading towards the school’s auditorium for their evening celebration with friends and family members.
