Police have charged a 14-year-old boy in relation to an alleged robbery with violence in Murgon on Sunday.
It is alleged that, about 6:38pm, the teenager approached a 2012 Ford Focus parked in the IGA car park in Krebs Street and threatened a 16-year-old boy inside the vehicle.
The boy then allegedly pulled the older teenager out of the car, got in and drove off.
About 9:30pm, the Ford Focus was located by police in Fisher Street, Cherbourg, after it had been extensively damaged by fire.
The 14-year-old was also allegedly involved in two earlier incidents:
Police will allege that about 9:40pm on November 6, the boy attempted to break into a property in McLucas Street, Murgon, before leaving the scene.
And about 3:30am on November 7, the boy allegedly stole a 2007 Toyota Hilux from a house in Taylor Street, Murgon.
He has been charged with robbery with violence, stealing, unlicensed driving, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and attempted enter dwelling with intent by break.
He was due to appear in Murgon Children’s Court on Monday.
