Two people were taken to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition after a falling tree struck their vehicle on the Bunya Highway on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the incident, just up from Krebs Bridge near Murgon, at 4:10pm.
The Hyundai Accent sedan was badly damaged in the crash.
A storm cell accompanied by very strong wind gusts was passing through the area about the time of the crash.
Lots of smaller pieces of tree debris were also cast across the highway.
The highway was blocked while the fallen tree was chainsawed into sections and removed.
