The toilet block in Kingaroy’s Adermann Park has re-opened to the public after a major refurbishment.

A Council spokesperson said the upgrade included a reconfiguration of the layout to allow for two unisex accessible cubicles, new tapware and sinks, and internal painting and flooring.

These improvements will provide the community with cleaner, safer and disability-friendly public toilets.

Council acknowledged the following contractors who were involved in these works:

  • Schulte’s Plumbing – South Burnett
  • Armstrong Concreting – South Burnett
  • Nates Painting Services – South Burnett
  • Flashcrete Finishes – Nindaroo
  • Sunshine Coast Renderers – Sunshine Coast
  • Cub Engineering – Yarraman

“I would really like to thank our Council team for their hard work in getting this project completed and for providing the community with refreshed facilities,” local councillor Deb Dennien said.

The upgrade was funded through the State Government’s Works For Queensland program.

The Adermann Park project was allocated $100,000 by Council from the Liveability Infrastructure – Parks Program which received $895,303 funding through the 2024-27 W4Q program.
