Producers from across the Burnett and beyond dropped into Kewpie Stockfeeds in Kingaroy on Friday to get the lowdown on the latest rural innovations.
The annual Rural Industry Field Day – a tradition which was revived last year – filled the area beside Kewpie Stockfeeds’ store in Youngman Street with an array of stalls, equipment and demonstrations.
Visitors could listen to specialist talks, guess the weight of a Brahman bull for a chance to win a chainsaw and explore special field day offers.
A large number of rural suppliers were on hand to showcase their products and services.
There were representatives from animal nutrition and health companies as well as the banking and finance industry and training providers.
Other presentations covered biosecurity and cyber security.
Live music by Rob and Clare Fitz-Herbert filled the grounds while the visitors browsed or enjoyed a coffee and a bite to eat.
