Five people were injured – including two critically – in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of the Brisbane Valley and D’Aguilar highways at Harlin on Friday afternoon.
A QAS spokesperson said a woman in her 30s with life-threatening injuries was airlifted by rescue helicopter to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with abdominal and lower body injuries.
A woman in her 50s was transported by road ambulance to Caboolture Hospital in a potentially life-threatening condition with chest injuries.
Emergency services were called to the incident at 1:37pm.
At 3:30pm, paramedics were still on scene assisting three other patients, including a woman in her 20s with chest injuries.
The spokesperson said all three were in a stable condition.
