Nanango netballers are one of only 40 clubs across Australia to have received a $2000 Woolworths Netball grant.

“We were very excited to receive one of the grants,” Nanango & District Netball Association president Katie Mangan said.

“We will be using the funding to provide all players with free healthy, nutritious afternoon tea before training and games each week, to ensure they can Pick Fresh and Play Fresh in 2026.

“It is also about educating our players on healthy food options to ensure healthy eating habits and active lifestyles.”

Kingaroy Woolworths store manager Mitchell Kelly presented the club with their cheque.

“We would like to pass on our sincere thanks and appreciation to Woolworths for this opportunity,” Katie said.
