South Burnett Regional Council has organised a series of get-togethers so residents can share their feedback about Council’s draft Community Plans.
The informal meetings will be held at nine different locations around the region before the finalisations of the plans (see list of Draft Plans below).
These will provide an opportunity to chat with Mayor Kathy Duff, councillors and senior Council staff.
The community catch up sessions for the finalisation of these plans will be held at:
- Wondai Memorial Hall – Tuesday, August 12 at 5:30pm to 6:30pm
- Proston Community Hall – Thursday, August 14 at 5:30pm to 6:30pm
- Kumbia Hall – Tuesday, August 19 at 5:30pm to 6:30pm
- Kingaroy Town Hall – Wednesday, August 20 at 5:30pm to 6:30pm
- Nanango Cultural Centre – Thursday, August 21 at 5:30pm to 6:30pm
- Maidenwell Hall – Monday, August 25 at 5:30pm to 6:30pm
- Murgon Town Hall – Tuesday, August 26 at 5:30pm to 6:30pm
- Blackbutt Library – Thursday, August 28 at 4:00pm to 6:00pm
- Hivesville Memorial Park – Sunday, August 24, at 12:00 noon after the markets.
Residents who are unable to attend any of these sessions, can also leave feedback via the SBRC website.
