A former teacher aide at Cherbourg State School has been charged with nine counts of alleged sexual abuse of children.
Three children have been named in the charges, with the alleged offences dating back over a decade.
Cherbourg State School published a letter from principal Boyd McLean to parents on its Facebook page on June 12, confirming police were investigating a former staff member from the school.
The man is due to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on August 12.
