A man had to be cut free from the wreckage of his vehicle after it crashed and rolled at Barambah on Wednesday morning.
A QAS spokesperson said the man, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was airlifted to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with potentially life-threatening head and limb injuries.
Emergency services were called to Silver Perch Road, which runs off the Burnett Highway near the BP Dam, just before 10:30am.
A QFD spokesperson said the man was freed from the vehicle at 11:25am and transferred to the waiting paramedics.
A rescue helicopter was called to the scene and landed nearby.
