A 25-year-old man charged after Wednesday’s alleged shooting incident in Arthur Street, Kingaroy, is due to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Thursday, facing 30 charges.

The charges include acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, dangerous conduct with a weapon, enter premises to commit an indictable offence, attempted enter dwelling with intent while armed, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, stealing and possessing explosives (ammunition).

Police will allege the man fired a number of shots into a house in the early hours of Wednesday.

He then allegedly fled after the incident, sparking a major manhunt which involved specialist police.

He was arrested about 1:30pm on Wednesday in Foleys Road at Goodger.

The man was remanded in police custody ahead of his court appearance.

UPDATE: The charges against Nanango man Luke Ralston were mentioned in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Thursday. The matters were adjourned to August 8 for mention and Ralston was remanded in custody.
