The Murgon Mustangs will be hosting their annual Domestic Violence Awareness Round this Saturday at Murgon Showgrounds.
This is always a highlight of the local rugby league calendar, with junior games being played all day across six fields.
Junior round robin games will be played from 8:00am (Under 10s and Under 12s) and 9:00am (Under 6s and Under 8s).
All the junior games will be 18 minutes long, with no half-time break.
There’ll also be several South Burnett sides in action:
- 11:00am – SB U35kg v SB Open Weight U10s
- 11:40am – SB U43kg v SB Zone 4 U12s
- Noon – SB U13 Girls v Hervey Bay
- 1:15pm – SB U15 Girls v Hervey Bay
South Burnett Rugby League competition games will also be played:
- 12:20pm – Under 14s – Chinchilla v Nanango
- 1:20pm – Under 14s – Murgon v Kingaroy
- 2:20pm – A Grade – Murgon v Cherbourg
- 4:00pm – Kingaroy v Wondai
Entry to the grounds is $2:00 for adults (or $5:00 from 2:00pm).
The licensed bar will open at 2:15pm.
