Police have charged a 13-year-old Cherbourg boy following a series of alleged break-and- enters in Brisbane earlier this week.
A police spokesperson said initial information indicated a group of four people allegedly attempted to gain entry to several properties in Drewvale at 3:30pm on April 21 but were unsuccessful.
They left in a black SUV.
Later that evening and the following morning, the same group allegedly attempted to break into properties in Coorparoo, Carina, Camp Hill and Holland Park West.
Various items, including keys, an e-scooter and a small amount of cash, were allegedly stolen.
Police arrested a 13-year-old boy in Crestmead on Friday about 9:00pm.
He has been charged with three counts of enter dwelling and commit, six counts of attempted enter dwelling with intent, two counts each of enter premises and commit indictable offence, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, serious assault of a public officer and one count each of stealing, enter dwelling with intent by break at night and attempted enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence.
He is due to reappear in Brisbane Children’s Court on May 6.
Police are appealing for anyone that may have seen the black SUV in those areas between 3:30pm on April 21 to 5:00am on April 22 to contact police.
