Wondai’s Autumn Garden Expo was blessed with sunshine last weekend, attracting a large number of stallholders and visitors.

The expo was officially opened on Saturday morning by South Burnett councillors Heath Sander and Danita Potter.

They were followed in the seating area by a string of guest gardening experts sharing tips across Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.

A highlight this year was a “beard parade” featuring colourful creations by floral designer Felicity J. Aitken.

Felicity also had a very colourful display inside the Wondai Lions Pavilion.

The Wondai Garden Expo committee’s next outing will be their Spring Expo on September 27-28. Mark your calendars!
