A man, aged in his 20s, was airlifted to hospital after a quadbike crash west of Kingaroy on Monday morning.

The Sunshine Coast-based LifeFlight helicopter was despatched to the private property at 11:35am

A LifeFlight spokesperson said the man was mustering cattle when the quadbike rolled, and his leg became trapped under the bullbar.

The LifeFlight critical care doctor and QAS flight paramedic worked with local paramedics to treat the patient for a leg injury.

He was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital for further treatment.
