55 Million Years Ago – the museum and art gallery in Macalister Street, Murgon – has unveiled its inaugural art competition, just in time for Anzac Day.
Entries in the Anzac Art competition will be on display in the gallery from April 21 to June 11.
The winners will be announced at the gallery’s Elegant Afternoon Tea, to be held on from 1:30pm to 3:30pm on Saturday, April 26.
The winning artist will take home $300 cash; second prize is $200 and third is $100.
There will also be a raffle drawn during the afternoon, with first prize being art supplied to the value of $200 plus a $20 Lightning Tree Wines voucher.
