Seilers Transport director Jared Seiler has been elected president of the Livestock and Rural Transporters Association of Queensland.
Jared has been the South-East Queensland delegate to the association for the past two years.
The appointment was announced at the association’s annual conference held on the Gold Coast as the weekend.
The role of the association is to represent the interests of the livestock and rural transport industry to governments, the business sector and community.
It aims to work alongside organisations such as Qld AgForce and the Queensland Trucking Association.
Seilers Transport, which is based in Kingaroy, specialises in pig and cattle transport.
