Police are appealing for information after an elderly couple were bashed in Murgon on Wednesday night.
A police spokesperson said that about 10:20pm, three people tried to break into two vehicles parked in a carport of a house in Wallace Street.
The three then entered the home, threatening the two elderly residents and then assaulting them.
The victims, an 80-year-old man and 76-year-old woman, were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The three people fled the scene on foot before police arrived.
Investigators are appealing to any witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam or CCTV vision, to contact PoliceLink on 131-400.
