UPDATE: Sadly, the missing man has been located deceased. A police spokesperson said there were no suspicious circumstances and a report would be prepared for the Coroner.

A search and rescue operation has begun in an effort to find an 85-year-old man who went missing from Proston on Tuesday morning.
The man was last seen on a property on Okeden Road about 9:30am and has not been seen or heard from since.
Police and family have serious concerns for the man’s welfare as he has a medical condition which requires medication.
He is believed to have been last seen wearing a felt hat, black shorts and blue shirt.
Residents are urged to check their properties, structures, boats, cars and trailers for signs of the missing man.
