The Nanango Sporting Association’s project to provide disability toilets at the Alan Downie Sports Fields has taken another big jump forward.
Heritage Bank Nanango recently provided a grant to the association to erect a slatted privacy screen at the top of the ramp leading into the facility.
The work was done by South Burnett Fencing.
The disability block project began with a Federal Government grant, topped up by Heritage, and opened for use in April last year.
The last stage of the project has now begun with landscaping and mulching around the building to reduce garden maintenance.
Nanango Lions Club, Bunnings and Brooklands Water are funding the landscaping which is being carried out by members.
Alan Downie Sports Fields is home to the Nanango Soccer Club , Nanango Kennel Club and Nanango & Districts Cricket Club.
