Police are investigating after a stolen car was torched in Cherbourg on Saturday and another dumped near the local forestry.
A police spokesperson said about 2:30am, police were called to Broadway Street with reports a vehicle was on fire.
Emergency services located a blue Subaru Forester, with firefighters quickly extinguishing the flames.
The Subaru was stolen from an address in Douglas Street, Murgon, at some time overnight between December 6-7.
The spokesperson said police believed a blue Kia Stonic had been travelling with the Subaru.
The Kia was stolen from Philps Street in Wondai on the same evening.
It was located damaged on Old Wondai Road about 1:00am on Saturday.
Police investigations are continuing.
