Murgon police are seeking help from the public in relation to two recent break-ins in the region.
The first occurred between 4:00pm on Thursday, October 31, and 8:00am on Friday, November 1, at the Community Centre in Barambah Avenue, Cherbourg.
The would-be thieves used a rock to smash a glass door at the rear of the building. They then reached through the broken glass and unlocked the door to enter the shop.
They fled when an alarm sounded.
Between 6:00pm on November 4 and 7:30am on November 5, thieves scaled a ladder to enter a house in Palmer Street, Murgon, via a window.
They then stole keys and a vehicle, which was later located in the Cherbourg State Forest.
