Waterhole Rocks secretary Sue Osberg says the 11th annual Heritage Waterhole Rocks – held last month at Nanango Showgrounds – attracted more than 300 caravans, including some from as far away as Tasmania.
The festival was held in conjunction with the South Burnett Gas Guzzlers who put on a car and vintage caravan show’n’shine.
“The success of this event would not be possible without the proud sponsorship of Heritage Bank Nanango,” Sue said.
“Through their grants we have been able to continue making improvements each year. Our biggest one being the implementation of one of the largest wooden dance floors in south-east Queensland.
“Heritage Nanango Community Branch grants also ensure we can provide good bands and entertainment for our attendees who arrive early and explore our town and community, which is great for the South Burnett economy.”
The amount of work put in to make this event possible is just awe inspiring! Wow, big kudos to the organisers who do this every year. The car display on Sunday was great!
